We are a mixed billing clinic with only childhood immunisations, management plans and health assessments bulk billed.
Additional to our treatment room nurse, we have a dedicated chronic disease nurse 5 days per week.
We have a fully equipped treatment room including ECG, Spirometry, hyfrecator and cast equipment.
We have a strong partnership with Northeast Health Wangaratta and the Wangaratta Private Hospital. This allows our GPs an opportunity to provide services in a hospital environment should they wish.
We have a strong social network and provide excellent support by all staff to help new doctors and their family become part of the community.
Our location is in the middle of the health district in Wangaratta (in front of the local public hospital). We are supported by multiple imaging and pathology providers within walking distance as well as other medical specialists network (Surgeons, Urologist, ENT, Paeds, O&G, Ortho, Physicians, Geriatrics, Rehabiliation, Anaesthetics, etc).
Wangaratta is the gateway for Northeast Victoria (on the Hume Freeway) with plenty of activities all year around in the area ( ski/snowboarding, kayaking, water ski, fishing, bush walking, 4WD, mountain/road cycling, rock climbing, caving, etc) as well as entertainment (cinema, wineries, breweries, concerts, festivals, performing arts centre, etc) and excellent education (public and private primary/secondary schools, TAFE, CSU).
